This Privacy Policy covers the Family Lens marketing website only. The Family Lens mobile app has not yet launched. When the app becomes available, we will publish an updated policy describing how it handles information, including children's information, with verifiable parental consent and in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA").

Summary: We collect the email address you submit to the waitlist, along with basic usage data gathered automatically.

Information you give us. When you join our launch waitlist, we collect the email address you enter. Our signup form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, which delivers your message to us. You may also contact us by email, in which case we receive whatever information you include.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically receive certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and the pages and links you interact with. We use Google Analytics to help us understand this in aggregate.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects usage data to help us measure traffic and improve the site. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you. You can:

Disable or delete cookies through your browser settings; and
Opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

How long we keep your information

We keep your waitlist email address until our launch communications are complete or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. Aggregate analytics data may be retained for longer in line with our analytics provider's settings.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@familylens.org.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. We will honor those rights as required by applicable law.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
